Cardio: High Knees
I use this movement a lot in classes where people don’t have a lot of room to move. I have them spend about 1 minute doing butt-kickers in an effort to get their heart-rate up, warm up their legs, and get their kneed joints moving smoothly before I take them into weight lifting movements like squats. I usually pair this with butt-kickers to make sure all the muscles in the legs get warmed up!
